Cos given the choice between watching one of the following two groups of people in action, I know who'd get my ten quid.
Group A features true silver-screen legends such as Bad Santa, Bad Boys, the Bad Taste aliens and two types of Bad Lieutenant.
Group B consists of Good Will Hunting, Good Luck Chuck, The Good Girl, The Good Guy, The Goods (Live Hard, Sell Hard) and Good Burger, starring 1990s-based imbeciles Kenan & Kel and featuring Shaquille O'Neal "as himself". (NB: GoodFellas doesn't count... largely for reasons of it not fitting this pattern what I've just maked up.)
So when a film called Bad Teacher comes along, starring Cameron Diaz, with her lips like a novelty sofa and legs from here to Bonfire Night, the signs are promising indeed.
And by and large, it's a promise on which this shiny, great-fun and roaringly daft summer comedy delivers wholesale.
Cam plays Elizabeth Halsey. She's tall, blonde, over-sexed, under-qualified, shallower than a blocked sink, and killing time in the classroom until she can marry her loaded fiancé and never have to work again.
